FireLine Braided Bead Thread is made of gel-spun polyethylene, an extremely strong fiber. It's an ideal thread when beadweaving crystals, gemstone beads or other beads that may have sharp edges around the holes.
This is my favorite type of thread for beading things like around cabs and for doing detailed pieces on felt!
